About 5 weeks ago our sweet Gracie girl completely displaced not only her front tooth, but her entire pallet. Talk about nightmare. All because of surfing on top of one yellow and red play car. You know the one that's been around since I was a kid and probably even before that.

Even with the trauma that it caused, it still remains her favorite toy. |

Poor Baby |
Due to our nursing newborn, my amazing husband, yes amazing, was the one that took Grace to the ER that sunny, sunday afternoon. Took her to the dentist the next morning, the oral surgeon that afternoon, and then back to the oral surgeon with our dentist later that afternoon.
Poor thing (referring to both of them) had to hold a wailing, screaming, kicking Grace down for 45 minutes, while the oral surgeon pushed her pallet and tooth back into place and then the dentist put braces on. I get tears in my eyes just thinking about it. It was a traumatic nightmare, especially for Matt, to say the least. Grace was playing and eating minutes after she came home with her gifts from the dentist---bouncy ball and cars for her brothers. Amazing how resilient kids are.

Later that night |
Well, today was the day that the dentist reevaluated all of her hard tugging and brace work. The results were good, thank God, and Grace was put under for the procedure, again Thank you God!! When Grace came home she was out of it, but still wanted eggies and to watch Ponies. She's our Gracie-girl.
